Underground experience

Please Note before applying: If you do not have current underground experience

and up-to-date inductions for Queensland mines

your application will not be considered.

Will consider candidates that are willing to re-locate to Emerald as

accommodation is not provided. 

       Diesel Fitter Qualifications

       Must have underground experience

       Generic Coal Induction- Surface & Underground

       Current Coal board medical, with chest x-ray 

This role will encompass the planned and breakdown

maintenance across the following machinery:

       Underground drilling equipment

       Large mining Equipment

       Ancillary Equipment

 Applicants Require:

   Trade qualified Diesel fitter with Qld certification

or able to obtain

Experience in coal mining industry

 Current Qld coal board medical

Current Qld generic underground & surface coal induction

It would be an advantage if you have:

Solid exposure to underground mobile plant maintenance

Diesel fitting/ mechanical fitting trade background

Prior experience in a breakdown or trouble shooting environment.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong Knowledge of Hydraulics
